The essential aim of the course is to acquire the fundamental concepts of electromagnetic fields both for the part of electromagnetism classical and for the constantly evolving and of current interest. The most interesting applications are antennae, artificial satellites, fiber optics, and optoelectronics. There is great emphasis on the interpretation of the camp solution in terms of equivalent circuits. Prerequisites: Physical Concepts – Vector Calculation – Curve Differential Geometry – Mathematical Methods for Engineering – Circuit Theory.
