PHYSICS 2

The course develops the study of the phenomena of electricity, magnetism and electromagnetic waves, to which the geometric and physical optics are transposed. The Field and Potential Concepts are developed in detail for the interpretation of the dynamic and energetic phenomena of electromagnetism and to describe the propagation of electromagnetic waves. The physical situations considered concern electromagnetic phenomena in empty space and material media. The stationary and variable elementary electrical circuits and the main optical instruments are also studied. The course requires knowledge of vector formalism, laws of dynamics and concepts of energy and work studied in General Physics I, as well as fundamental notions of differential and integral calculation.

DEVELOPMENT AND ASSESSMENT OF TOOLS FOR QUANTITATIVE DYNAMIC CONTRAST ENHANCED MRI OF BONE METASTASES FROM BREAST AND PROSTATE CANCER

The microenvironment of solid human tumors is characterized by heterogeneity in oxygenation and by proliferation of a network of blood vessels that provides oxygen and nutrients and removes waste products. The capability of a tumor to metastasize is linked to…
