TECHNICAL PHYSICS

The course deals with thermodynamics applied to the study of thermal energy into mechanical energy conversion. From the energetic point of view, the study of inverse cycles is also addressed. The principles of heat transmission are then studied with particular reference to the disposal of thermal energy in electronic components. The course continues with the study of acoustics, with particular reference to sound propagation and noise control, colorimetry and solar energy, with particular reference to photovoltaic conversion. Past knowledge required is those related to the notions of Mathematical Analysis, Physics I and II and Chemistry.
